70 days agoHi Dylan, I tried to get into Investing about a year ago. It has been my desire for all of my adult life and some of my adolescent life as well. Long story short I got involved with an agent who I thought was on the same page as me when I explained to him that I was a beginner and was trying to get involved on the “assignment of contact” end of it. However when it came time to put in offers he refused to do so until I could provide him with $1000 EMD. I have heard that an EMD can be as low as $1 yet at the same time It seems that would run the risk of the offer not being taken seriously.. and another thing; are seasoned investors really tieing up a thousand dollars on every offer. That just seems impossible for someone who would like to put in dozens of offers a week.. Perhaps you might teach on this matter a little. It will be appreciated more than you will ever know. Thanks in advance.

71 days agoI am a single parent and college student. real estate is something that has always been so intriguing to me i have just always thought it was an unattainable goal for me because- well being a single mother brings its own challenges and tightens my financial wiggle room to taking on new things and then adding college to that – i just did not think it was something i could get into without having to have money, a LOT of money to invest, or knowing other people to sell to, and how do i advertise, how would i be different then any people who have house putting them in debt that they cant sell/rent or even keep up, where do i even start?? just so many things that discouraged me, but then i seen an infomercial of yours and became inspired again thinking maybe i can at least take a shot at it.. I am still wondering is this going to actually work for me?? could i quit my horrible job and make this a career while going to school and be able to comfortably support myself and my daughter??

79 days agoHello Mr. Tanaka,
For the past six months or so I’ve been getting more and more interested in real estate investing. I’ve purchased books and attended seminars on wholesaling properties and ready to finally jump out there and make great deals. Found this website through Google and really looking forward to joining this group in hopes of building great relationships and possibly finding a mentor while gaining more knowledge about real estate.

82 days agoJames,
Thanks for asking that question. All to often I assume that everyone who visits this site understands everything on here.
What “REHABBING HOUSES” means is to go through and repair, remodel, and ultimately resell the house for a profit.
Make sure to get on our e-mail list throughout this month we’ll be offering free training on exactly what you’re asking about, what is rehabbing, the best way to rehab, and then how to sell the house.
Hope we’ll see you at a REIA of Macomb event soon.

112 days agoHi Gary,
Great idea…I’ll try to arm wrestle an attorney to do a tele-seminar or webinar with me to walk us investors through the eviction process…the right way.

I am interested in getting more information regarding getting bad tenants out and getting your property back. I have so many Investor clients that are taking advantage of the buy and hold strategy and I want to educate them and myself as much as possible.
I also have out of state land lords that are going through pro-bate and are waiting to settle a will that have 5 properties here in MI with bad tenants, and I would like to help them get those tenants out before we put the houses up for sale.
See you tonight!! Sherry Denton – Keller Williams Realty

117 days agoI’m new to real estate investing in Macomb County and also new to Macomb REIA. Hoping to make some business partners, along with some friends in joining the Macomb REIA.
I aspire to invest in multi-unit apartments. Not feeling confident yet in my abilities to get into that investment market, and am currently educating myself in the areas of wholesaling to build some funding and real estate knowledge to progress into some buy and holds for cash flow.
I would like to see some educational training on how to get started, and hopefully something that can describe in detail the transition into multi – unit apartments.THANKS and look forward to meeting you,
Anthony Charron -
